inter the active era, enter the active area

I'm about to go grocery shopping. List is pretty well decided. However, there's a chance that I will shop for groceries again at some future juncture. What will I get then? Who knows. You, that's who. That's right: I am now accepting Entries for a Contest I call "tell me something to buy from the grocery store in the comments." I think you can figure it out. Unless your Contest Entry includes kale, eggs, or olives, I reserve the right to total skepticism.

Can't tell you what to get...But don't get black-eyed peas, candied walnuts, honey infused walnuts, apple butter, dried soybeans or applesauce mufffins anytime real soon as some of each of those are winging their way to you! ;-)

if you get some kale and devein it, or, just the arteries, and then you tear it up into small pieces, and then you douse it (or, coat, or, drizzle) in/with sesame oil, and then you put some sesame seeds on top, and some salt, not too much, and then you put it in the oven at 375 for 10 minutes, and then you eat the result, you will say, "oh, this is actually pretty good".

in defense of kale.

or just buy some good peanut butter

dan, i love kale! that is a good way to prepare it and other ways are good too. often i am lazy and will just saute it with some olive oil and garlic.

funny enough, they were out of kale at stop n' shop and i had to buy turnip greens, which are also good. ate some for breakfast this morning. here i am, now, talking about them in a comment on my own blog, instead of writing. hurrah! hurrah!

Nutella and Laughing Cow Baby Swiss wedges.

Not to put on the same thing, though.

I'm just addicted to those particular snackulars right now.

Quinoa! I usually cook it with vegetable bouillon though I'm going to try cooking it with almond milk and fruit and nuts and agave for breakfast. One day it will be grown in space.

Make "Kale Slaw", mixing finely chopped kale with things like chopped carrots, celery, onions & bell pepper. Dress with Veganaise and lemon juice or whatever you prefer. Adapt accordingly, using your imagination! (Or, google kale coleslaw *or* Kale Slaw ;-)

thank you all for the suggestions

i will try to keep you updated as possible on the progress of your control over my food life, which is greatly appreciated, as i am always looking for ways to relinquish life or life-like control

It's pretty late, but get some root veggies and roast them with herbs and balsamic vinegar... Also, don't forget paper towels... I always forget those :p
